Nintedanib drug to treat NSCLC is submitted for approval from European Medicines Agency

Boehringer Ingelheim announced the submission of a Marketing Authorisation Application to the European Medicines Agency for the approval of its oral triple angiokinase inhibitor nintedanib, in combination with docetaxel, for the treatment of patients with locally advanced, metastatic or recurrent non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) of adenocarcinoma tumour histology after first line chemotherapy.

CureVac collaborates with Janssen on development of influenza vaccine based on mRNA

CureVac, a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company that has pioneered the development of a new class of therapies and vaccines based on messenger RNA (mRNA), today announced that it has entered into a collaboration and licensing agreement with Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
