Common rubber products can form isothiocyanates in contact with skin and cause contact allergy. This is the conclusion of research carried out at the University of Gothenburg. Isothiocyanates are a group of reactive substances that are potent contact allergens.

Cyclacel opens enrollment of sapacitabine Phase 3 trial for AML

The only way to learn if your water source has hexavalent chromium is to check with your public water supplier and request a water quality report, said NJIT Professor Taha Marhaba, a civil/environmental engineer. Mothers exposure to farm animals and cats during pregnancy lowers risk of atopic dermatitis in children

Children whose mothers are exposed to farm animals and cats are better protected against atopic dermatitis and are less likely to develop this painful inflammation of the skin in their first two years of life.
