Osman is a Neuroscience Ph.D. Research Student at the University of Sheffield studying the impact of cardiovascular disease (atherosclerosis; vascular dementia) and Alzheimer's disease on neurovascular coupling using pre-clinical models and neuroimaging techniques.

He is based in the Berwick Lab; part of the Neuroimaging in Cardiovascular Disease (NICAD) Network at Sheffield.

Osman graduated with a B.Sc. with honors in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Sheffield, where he specialized in Neuroscience.

He went on to complete an Master's of Science (M.Sc.) in Translational Neuroscience (SITraN) specialising in molecular neuroscience of motor-neuron disease (2016).

He is now in his second year of his Ph.D., and writes articles on topics such as Multiple Sclerosis, Huntington's Disease, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease for News-Medical.
