American Dental Partners completes public offering of shares

American Dental Partners, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADPI) announced today that it completed its previously announced public offering of 2,260,000 shares of common stock at a price of $12.00 per share to the public (excluding the underwriter's over-allotment option to purchase an additional 339,000 shares) with net proceeds of approximately $25,300,000 after deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated expenses of the offering.

Fitch Ratings has downgraded to 'BBB+' the underlying rating on approximately $464 million outstanding bonds issued by the Louisiana Public Facilities Authority on behalf of Ochsner Clinic Foundation (OCF) ($380 million series 2007A) and Ochsner Community Hospitals (OCH) ($83.9 million series 2007B).

The Family and friends of David Gimelfarb have established the Rescue Resource Fund in support of agencies involved in a search and rescue operation currently underway in Costa Rica. David, a doctoral student at the Adler School of Professional Psychology, went missing last week while vacationing in the northern part of Costa Rica.

UCLA's Laboratory of Neuro Imaging awarded $1.9 million NIH ARRA grant

UCLA researchers have received 80 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act) grants totaling $19.4 million from the National Institutes of Health thus far. UCLA's largest NIH ARRA grant to date was $1.9 million, awarded to UCLA's Laboratory of Neuro Imaging (LONI), which is dedicated to creating scientific approaches to mapping how the brain is structured and how it works.
