Rite Aid and Atlantic General Hospital sign agreement to open Atlantic ImmediCare clinics

Rite Aid Corporation (NYSE:RAD) and Atlantic General Hospital and Health System today announced an agreement to open Atlantic ImmediCare clinics inside three Rite Aid stores in Ocean Pines and Pocomoke City, Maryland, and Millsboro, Delaware, this fall. The clinics, which will be open daily, will provide extended hours for care in the evening and on weekends.

Study links physical fitness levels of Spanish teenagers to cardiovascular health

Experts of the Department of Medical Physiology of the University of Granada (EFFECTS-262 research group) are leading a national research to measure the level of physical fitness of Spanish teenagers and its connection with their future cardiovascular health. The study, called AVENA, reveals that the cardiorespiratory fitness level of one out of five teenagers indicates there is a risk of having cardiovascular diseases in the future.

Employees report their bosses use threats and intimidation during the financial crisis, according to a national study of leadership funded by the University of Phoenix. “Questions get you written up and/or fired,” one worker said. The study’s results also showed employees increasing distrust what their bosses say.
