BioMed Central, the world's largest open access publisher with over 200 peer-reviewed journals has teamed up with Quertle LLC to add over 60,000 published articles into the latest version of their innovative online biomedical search tool.

"We are excited to introduce relationship-driven semantic searching of full-text documents," said Jeffrey Saffer, Quertle's President. "In doing so, it is natural for us to incorporate content from BioMed Central, the pioneer of open access publishing. Their content is high quality, covers a wide set of disciplines and will be of great interest to our users."

Quertle's innovative semantic search approach provides a powerful new tool to help researchers find the most relevant documents", said BioMed Central's Managing Director, Matthew Cockerill, "The indexing of the full text of BioMed Central's articles by Quertle is a great example of how our open access policy maximizes the accessibility and discoverability of research."
