Astro Pak Corporation, the U.S.'s largest
precision cleaning and passivation company, today announced the launch of
their new subsidiary, SixLog Corporation. SixLog provides on-site
biological decontamination services utilizing proprietary iHP™ (ionized
Hydrogen Peroxide) technology to a variety of industries including Life
Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, First Responders, Transportation, and
Public Facilities. SixLog performs decontamination services for equipment,
rooms, entire buildings, and modes of transportation such as ambulances,
trains, and cruise ships.
"SixLog's iHP™ bio decontamination technology was developed and
perfected for military applications (biological weapons)," said Ken
Verheyen, President of Astro Pak. "We're excited to bring this
revolutionary technology into the commercial marketplace." iHP™ can be
used in open air and, once ionized, acts like a gas as opposed to a vapor,
providing excellent distribution properties, and destroying microorganisms
even in those hard-to-reach areas. Thus, iHP™ is more effective, has
excellent materials compatibility and requires a drastically shorter
decontamination process time than alternatives.
Steve Feinstein will serve as SixLog's Director of Technology. Most
recently, Mr. Feinstein served as Regional Sales Manager for Bioquell Inc.,
a British manufacturer of hydrogen peroxide vapor generators. Prior to
that, he owned Medical Repair Laboratories, Inc. before selling the firm to
a competitor where he served as their Director of Sales, Marketing and
Business Development.
In addition to the company launch, SixLog also unveiled a company website
at www.sixlogcorp.com. The website features a resource center containing
technical papers, presentations, and other downloads for knowledge
enrichment on biological decontamination and sterilization. The website
also offers industry news and events as well as widgets for seamless
integration with social media.
