Iovate Health Sciences reaches agreed settlement with Federal Trade Commission on advertising

NewsGuard 100/100 Score

Iovate Health Sciences is pleased to have reached an agreed settlement with the Federal Trade Commission involving advertising for certain products.  These products -- Cold MD, Germ MD, Allergy MD, Accelis, and nanoSlim -- have long been discontinued, some as far back as 2007.  The agreement reached between Iovate and the FTC, which admits no wrongdoing, sets new, clearer standards for substantiating health-related advertising claims.  Iovate is prepared to conduct business in compliance with the new standards and remains committed to providing only the highest quality products to its valued customers to help them meet their health and fitness goals.
