I'm so glad to see someone recognizing the cause/effect question with respect to circadian rhythms.  Why blame people for their Alzheimer's by accusing them of not paying enough attention to sleep, when in fact the sleep issues they are having might be symptom, not a cause?

I also hope that they are going to look at the virus connection.  If COVID-19 could cause Alzheimer's, what about other respiratory viruses?  Could Alzheimer's be a cumulative effect from multiple respiratory viruses over time -- depending on a sensitivity of certain brains?  I know my mom's Alzheimer's got much worse after a bad cold that went into a sinus infection.
