Kelly, thank you so much for sharing.  O just ran across this forum while researching  the mites that I have, all except Idk wat kind they are.  They seem to come and go.  Or at least I think they've gone, then before you know it they are back.  I have gone thru & still go thru every feeling & attack you have described!!! No one ever believes me. Ppl call me crazy.  Say I was "meth head' & spun stupid. Dr's look at you like ur crazy of start talking to you about addiction.  I was an addict. But I wasn't stupid. I know my body! And I know wen something isn't right.  The only difference so far that I haven't read on  is how this substance is in my hair and falls out onto me or my surroundings & how scary it is to me. I'm scared to death of it and yet can't get away from it I'm scared of my daughter getting it who stayed the week with me and bathed with me and slept iny bed, prior to me getting a magnifying glass and seeing that it is mites.   These seem to build a crust around my cuticles. I cannot stand hard, dry cuticles so idl clip them with nail clippers. Then I feel a light movement or crawling sensation. That's wen I looked with the magnifying glass to find mites!  Running out and back in to my nail beds!!!  I've thought I had a bug before , but like I said  ppl ridiculed me saying ur just high or  smoke dum more u dope head or something like that. My son wouldn't hit me but would be very intimidating to me about it. My sister has came iny room and pinned me to the bed threatening to hit me over it thinking I had relapsed or was bothering my mother with it.  I'm 54 yrs old.  I'm not a child. But wen the Dr first diagnosed me with stress eczema (d/y my nails) I thought the whole family was gonna disown me. It's the worse feeling ever because there is no one to talk. Yo about it or ur to embarrassed to tell ppl about it.  Scared of someone at work seeing it . Mine are all over body & hair. No one had ever really taken me serious about it. And wen they did and referred me on to s dermatologist they acted like they were to good or  something to touch me so they barely raised my hair and looked, without a magnifying glass, and said no, there's nothing there and that was that. The Dr that treated me last week didn't believe and it wasn't until I went off on her for getting to the pharmacy to see no med was ordered for it that then ivermectin was finally ordered.asking for a tube of permethrin was like asking for her life.  I.  So I did take it and I believe it has helped but still waiting to take a second dose. I don't eat much , and want something I can eat with a spoon or fork.  It's to easy for them to even go down the utensil into my food.  I can't sleep.  That's wen it's the scariest, at night  bBut anyway now I don't feel so alonei am afraid was coagious what kind of was if I had to have all family members treated if it there was something I needed to do specifically to get rid of it in the home nothing.  Can you tell me if this ,"substance" drops off you and or ur surroundings and have you ever seen a towel or washcloth like ""breathing" or shoelaces move by themselves?  This stuff also stings like a bite and hurts during showers.  I'm so afraid of it and not gonna lie, I don't want to live the rest of my life this way. . I'm so petrified of spiders and these seem very spider like.  No one will help me & it pisses of everyone wen I talk about it.  I thank you
