    Being a member of the Neuro-Diverse community, I cringe when I see our genes being referred to as being "Defective". This term tends to imply that we are broken, unworthy and in need of fixing. I for one, personally do not believe I require fixing, nor do I require a cure for my neuro-diversity. If I may be so bold and suggest that in the future instead of using the phrase "defective genes", you consider an alternate phrase such as "genetic variance", it seems to more accurately portray our condition as a difference rather than being broken.
