    A very interesting study, at least to me, since I take Omega-3 supplements for both heart and brain issues. But a more holistic approach would also look at the effects of higher doses of fish -- contaminated with mercury, PCBs, and other toxins -- on other areas of the hum body besides the very targeted and potentially significant effects the researchers here are proposing. Also, what are the effects of the brain taking up the beneficial substances in the blood to the degree needed, and what are the effects of over-riding that "block"? Are other anti-inflammatory substances (like curcumin, for example) just as useful as higher doses of Omega-3, and can the one be substituted for the other?
