1. Jo Tarpley Jo Tarpley United States says:

Women that live with endometriosis don't need "reminders" or "coaching" to get up and move. Most women don't WANT to be sitting or laying down doing nothing. They have family that needs them to run a household, do never-ending chores, grocery shop, care for the children; they have friends they go out to socialize with and pets that need exercise. Most women only have prolonged periods of sitting or laying down if either their job demands it or they are in so much pain from MOVING that they have no other choice but to stop until their body ALLOWS them to move again. Movement does NOT help all women with Endometriosis feel less pelvic pain, in fact, thanks to endometriosis and adhesions attaching organs where they don't belong, movement can actually lead to increased pain. If you want to utilize AI to improve things for women with Endometriosis, you'd be better off putting it to work evaluating women's symptoms, blood work and other related test results to connect the dots doctors are no longer given the time to make between Endometriosis and other linked health conditions. We need diagnoses to happen faster, more accurately and with less expense to the patient so that treatments can start sooner and become more effective in helping women actually regain some quality of life.  Look, I'm VERY happy research for women's health is happening but I really hope to see it progress far deeper than reminders to "move more".
