    Everyone is pushed to get a colonoscopy at 50, yet very few are remotely at risk for colon cancer - plus insurance pays for it.   However, most of us will die from heart disease, yet it's rarely pushed to get a cardiac calcification screening or stress echo to detect early heart disease when there is still time to do something about it - oh, and insurance will not pay for it, even though they are relatively cheap tests unless you have a heart attack...   Go figure.
