APHA Law Section honors Lawrence Gostin for Lifetime Achievement in Public Health Law

Lawrence Gostin, JD, LLD (h.c.), Faculty Director of the O'Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law at Georgetown Law, was honored today for his "Lifetime Achievement in Public Health Law" by the American Public Health Association (APHA) Law Section. The award was presented in Chicago.

Rush awarded $2.45 million grant to support quality care for older Americans

Rush University Medical Center has received a three-year, $2.45 million grant from the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration to support quality care for older Americans. Rush is one of only 44 health and education institutions in the country that the HRSA chose to become a Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program, which supports training and education that leads to better care for older adults.
