ASTI's 'Tell-a-Friend program' for solving sleep-related problems

Adaptive Sound Technologies, Inc. (ASTI) announced today that it will pay cash rewards to ASTI customers who refer friends that in turn buy an Ecotones or Ecotones Duet directly from ASTI. The new "Tell-a-Friend" program rewards customers for doing what they have been doing since the first Ecotones was introduced late last year: letting friends in on the secret to better sleep.

sanofi-aventis reports financial results for the third quarter of 2009

In the third quarter of 2009, sanofi-aventis generated net sales of euro 7,400 million, up 8.0% on a reported basis. Exchange rate movements had a favorable effect of 2.0 percentage points, with the appreciation of the U.S. dollar (and to a lesser extent the yen) against the euro more than offsetting the unfavorable effects of some other currencies.

New data on KAPIDEX for nighttime heartburn in adults with non-erosive GERD presented at the 2009 ACG

New data being presented at the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) 2009 Annual Scientific Meeting in San Diego showed that treatment with KAPIDEX(TM) (dexlansoprazole) delayed release capsules over a four-week period resulted in a statistically significant greater percentage of nights without heartburn in subjects with non-erosive gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), compared to placebo (p<0.001).

Millennium commences Vc-R-CHOP Phase II trial for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma

Millennium: The Takeda Oncology Company today announced the initiation of a Phase II clinical trial examining rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine and prednisone (R-CHOP) with or without VELCADE® (bortezomib) for Injection for patients with a common type of lymphoma.
