Suchandrima has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Microbiology and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Microbiology from the University of Calcutta, India. The study of health and diseases was always very important to her. In addition to Microbiology, she also gained extensive knowledge in Biochemistry, Immunology, Medical Microbiology, Metabolism, and Biotechnology as part of her master's degree.

Suchandrima is also an avid writer and has written for some reputable Indian organizations. However, she decided to pursue scientific writing as it would be the best combination of what she loves, research and writing. Additionally, she authored a book chapter that was published in Elsevier.

Currently she is also working as a medical writer where she has to develop articles for several diseases and also provide detailed descriptions of medicines and other associated products.

She is very enthusiastic about working at AzoNetwork's medical website, News Medical, since it will keep her updated about the latest breakthroughs in medical and health science that are happening around the world.

Apart from science, her hobbies include reading and painting. She has an art page on Instagram with over 1k followers and plans not to lose touch with her hobbies. She loves reading novels, the last novel she read was Men without Women by Haruki Murakami.
