Oxford Finance to provide Titan Pharmaceuticals a $3M term loan

Titan Pharmaceuticals, Inc. today announced that it has entered into a Loan and Security Agreement with Oxford Finance Corporation ("Oxford") for a $3 million term loan. The loan will bear interest at an approximate rate of 13% per annum and be payable over three years. Under the terms of the agreement, Titan will pay Oxford an initial facility fee of $60,000 and a final payment fee of $180,000.

CPEX Pharmaceuticals completes enrollment in Nasulin Phase 2a clinical trial

CPEX Pharmaceuticals, Inc. today announced that the ongoing Phase 2a clinical trial of Nasulin™, the Company’s intranasal insulin candidate, has now completed enrollment. The study was initiated in February of this year and randomized 94 subjects. Results are expected at the end of the first quarter or beginning of the second quarter of 2010.
