SciQuest, Inc., a leading provider of on-demand strategic procurement and supplier enablement solutions, was once again named to the Inc. 500|5000 list of the fastest-growing, private companies in America. SciQuest first appeared on the Inc. 500|5000 list in 2007.

Each year, Inc. 500|5000 honors and celebrates the remarkable achievements of today's entrepreneurial superstars and the privately held small businesses that drive our economy. This list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy—America's independent-minded entrepreneurs—representing a huge honor for SciQuest.

"On behalf of SciQuest, I am thrilled to acknowledge our placement on the Inc. 500|5000 list of fastest-growing companies," said CEO Stephen Weihe. "Making Inc. Magazine's coveted list four years in a row is an honor, and we are equally thrilled to be in great company among other highly regarded and well-known businesses."

"The leaders of the companies on this year's Inc. 5000 have figured out how to grow their businesses during the longest recession since the Great Depression," said Inc. president Bob LaPointe. "The 2010 Inc. 5000 showcases a particularly hardy group of entrepreneurs."

Since assuming the role of CEO in 2001, Weihe has helped turn SciQuest into one of America's fastest-growing private companies. Not only has he been successful in placing SciQuest on the Inc. 500|5000 list, his leadership style has garnered multiple honors including Ernst & Young's Carolinas Entrepreneur of the Year, Triangle Business Journal's "Best Places to Work," American Business Awards' "Turnaround of the Year" and NCTA's "Software Company of the Year."
