    This article is directed at 1st world countries, where from my research approx 4 AU.to 7 USA. per 1,000 is the norm. In Asian countries where there is no support facilities at all, the numbers are as high as 27 per 1.000, notably the Philippines and Africa. I tend to agree with the author on causes in Western Countries but strongly disagree as to the rest of the world, this may also be the difference in estimated stats! Its historical, and is ignored by the vast majority of humanity. Shame on US!
