From personal experience, I  was diagnosed with ADD when I was 39 and the pandemic pushed me to get help and confirm this diagnosis. I am a mental health therapist myself, and switching from office space therapy to working from home doing telehealth was traumatic and very unhealthy for my stress levels.  Change is difficult for  everyone, change is especially difficult for those with ADHD of all ages, And for me, at this point in time it became impossible for me to maintain a healthy balance between work and life, I cannot find any organization whatsoever I'm trying to keep my family quiet and follow all HIPAA rules while I was doing sessions for eight hours a day was torture.  The whole point being made here is that ADD/ADHD certainly does not discriminate by age.  Glad to see there are researchers noticing these changes in our children and hopefully, they can get the help they deserve before their middle-aged like myself and get diagnosed for the first time.
