1. Vera Duckworth Vera Duckworth United Kingdom says:

Once again perversity pervades the approach towards dealing with Candida. The idea of targeting the genetic make-up of Candida has the potential to wipe out Candida throughout the system. But this would be unacceptable as Candida does a useful and necessary job when it thrives normally, under naturally controlled conditions in the latter part of the bowel. Indeed, if we did not have Candida this would in itself be bad (some say fatal) for us!

Surely the REAL message, from the evidence of those beset by dangerous Candida overgrowth and systemic infection, is that the treatment regimes that decimate the immune system are the thing that is wrong?

Trying to kill-off Candida is like playing Canute.

It's also a ridiculous premise as it starts to tackle the issue from the wrong end.

Getting away from the slash, burn, poison treatments and recognizing that the illnesses so treated are symptomatic of a final breakdown in bodily resistance due to long-term unhealthy lifestyle patterns is key.

Remedy the lifestyle  -- heal the body -- and leave Candida alone, as it will no longer be a problem of threat, it will just live where it should, doing its natural job without being a health hazard, only a healthful part of the natural flora and fauna of the human bilogical system.

But of course... there is no profit in encouraging healthy lifestyles... so one can't expect the Research and Pharmaceutical industry fraternities to do much else but continue to plough the same perverse profitering pill and potion peddling furrow!
