      Hiya Pamela, thanks for your comment on my article! I don't believe that aspergillus niger is used in these pills - rather an enzyme called alpha-GAL which is extracted from that fungus. Also, this fungus is usually only harmful when inhaled, as it mainly causes respiratory issues. Therefore, if it is ingested, it shouldn't cause disease. Hope this helps!
