    "Following the rollout of vaccines, the incidence of severe infection and fatalities decreased rapidly once full vaccination rates were achieved for a sizable proportion."  

    Not sure I believe this unqualified assertion.  News reports back in November indicated that COVID-19 deaths in the US for the first 10 or 11 months of 2021 had already exceeded the 2020 number.
