    Yes, I agree with this article having lived in Germany across the street from a bakery. It is square, dark, very dense and not at all fluffy. I found that one piece was very filling and satisfying. It was as if the bread was made from bran itself. I loved it and am trying to find it here in the US or make it myself. Can anybody help me? It's a great bread, one that I want to make a permanent part of my life.
