    Cord blood has been used safely for 45 years. Unfortunately the FDA has approved its use only for leukemia and congenital anemia.  Because you are reading this comment, educate yourself about regenerative medicine, if you haven't. Cord cell is the up and coming source for stem cell.  Don't invest in blood banking. It's expensive and unnecessary.  Eventually, if a good portion of us demand it, we will have cord stem cell as routine medicine in all parts of the world, including the United States.  Educate, then demand some of the best health care can offer you and your loved ones - new cells, new organs, a new lease on life.
