1. Stephan Jobski Stephan Jobski United States says:

My wife is Taiwanese, born with HepB from her parents, her infection was chronic, she has been in the US for 30 years now. Her father, a Taiwanese Air Force Pilot died of Liver Cancer. She is now 58. At first she was treated with Tenofovir and it did nothing to decrease the infection rate and multiplying of the HepB Virus. My wife's Liver specialist (MD) switched her to Viread 300mg  6 years ago and the virus count  immediately started dropping. Within 2 years the active virus count was ZERO and has remained so under Viread treatment. Quarterly tests and biannual Ultrasounds or MRI's show no damage or cancer to her Liver. While she is obviously not "cured", as he body is still not creating it's own virus fighting antigens, Viread , NOT Tenofovir, has saved her life. I say BS on this study.
