I have been hearing this more and more but the insurance companies won't pay for the surgery.  I have been trying now since August to lose weight so that I can get a knee replacement and I have to do it on my own because my insurance won't pay. It has been really hard especially since I can't more well do to my knees and I also have fibermalayia (sp). I have lost 32 pounds but it has been almost 8 months. I would have lost that much in the first month if I could have had the surgery. Problem now is I am stuck.  Haven't lost anything in a couple of weeks.  Need at least 50 to get knee done. Don't know if I will ever get there.
