    I've advocated for nasal/oral spray since mid-2020. There was a remarkable grass-roots DIY project for exactly that, given that viral fragment synthesis was possible with college biochemistry lab skills.
    Not having any official backing, naturally the scheme fell apart before it could really get underway; but really both the current and previous US admins fell down on the job and pushed big pharma for conventional injection delivery. Meanwhile Russia, India, and even the hated Iranian health authorities are gearing up large-scale spray vaccine vectors.
