1. Not Very Exciting But the Headline is misleading

    I got excited because of the headlines. This program can only analyse the entire genetic code of a bacterium in under 3 minutes after "The bacterial sample has been cultured and its DNA sequenced".

    To tell you frankly, I do not think doctors need a programme or a tool to decide because we only have few antibiotics to choose. Projects like this makes me sick because it raises hopes for doctors and patients with no chance of any real progress against real threat to us.
