Medtronic, Inc. today announced the receipt of CE Mark (Conformité Européenne) and launch of the CapSure Sense MRI SureScan® pacing leads, which are approved for use during Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). Varian to acquire InfiMed

Varian Medical Systems, Inc., today announced it has reached an agreement to acquire InfiMed, Inc., a privately-owned, leading supplier of workstations including hardware and software for processing diagnostic X-ray images. The acquisition, which is expected to close in early April subject to the satisfaction of certain closing conditions, will operate within Varian's X-Ray Products segment.

Promising results from initial trial of new ultrasonic breast cancer screening

Scientists have successfully completed an initial trial of a new, potentially more reliable, technique for screening breast cancer using ultrasound. Union County Commission honors KF scientist with Women of Excellence Award
