TissueFab® bioink Bone Support Gel

TissueFab® - Bone support bioink is designed for two primary applications: it can be used for printing bone scaffolds or as a supportive bioink for bone-specific hydrogel or matrix bioinks. This bioink is carefully formulated with the optimal ratio of two key components, Polycaprolactone (PCL) and Hydroxyapatite (HAp), resulting in excellent printability and osteogenic bioactivity.

PCL is a synthetic biodegradable polymer that has gained widespread use as a material for 3D-printed bone scaffolds.

HAp exhibits a chemical similarity to the mineralized phase of natural bone. This resemblance contributes to HAp's excellent biocompatibility, osteoinductive, and osteoconductive properties, making it highly favorable for bone regeneration.

When combined in this bioink, PCL and HAp work together to offer a promising solution for bone tissue engineering and 3D bioprinting applications.
