Endocrine Society, global partners to host international meeting for promoting endocrinology in India

Chevy Chase, MD-A new major collaborative partnership among international hormone health organizations will help promote endocrinology on the Indian sub-continent. The Endocrine Society has joined the Endocrine Society of India (ESI), the Society for Endocrinology in the United Kingdom and International Society of Endocrinology (ISE) to host the inaugural International Clinical Update program in Endocrinology (ICUE), February 1-2 in Hyderabad, India.

Decision-making by a surrogate for a family member who is unable to make medical decisions is more complicated than decision-making by patients themselves, according to a study from the Regenstrief Institute, Indiana University Center for Aging Research and the Charles Warren Fairbanks Center for Medical Ethics of Indiana University Health.
