C2 Health, a division of C2 Technologies, Inc., announced today the launch of its Health Exchange Learning Portal (HELP) at C2-Health.com, a complete suite of classroom, eLearning courses, and resources for nationwide education of Navigators/Consumer Assistors, Consumers, Brokers, Call Center Representatives (CSRs), Health Workers and Volunteers tasked with helping consumers enroll for healthcare coverage under the Affordable Care Act of 2010 (ACA).

Protective effect of estrogen in women with NASH against development of severe fibrosis

New research suggests that estrogen protects women with nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) from severe liver fibrosis. According to the study published online in Hepatology, a journal of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, men are at higher risk of more severe fibrosis compared to women prior to menopause, but liver fibrosis severity is similar in men and post-menopausal women.
