Medical Services International signs $25 mil Chinese contract

Medical Services International has announced that it has signed a $25,500,000 US contract to supply the VScan HIV test kit in the People's Republic of China.

Through its Shanghai facility, starting July 1, 2005, the Company will supply 3.6 million VScan test kits per year for a 3 year period. The contract will have a value of approximately $8,500,000 US per year with a total value of $25,500,000 US at the end of the 3 years. This contract is for the VScan HIV test kit only and does not take into account the revenue that will be generated in China by the other test kits ( TB, Hep B&C, Dengue Fever, and Malaria).

The VScan rapid test kit is a single use, disposable, accurate, cost effective, easy to use, test for the screening of HIV1&2, Hepatitis B&C, Tuberculosis (TB) , West Nile, Dengue Fever, Syphilis, Malaria and Prostate Cancer.
