Surrex Consulting launches new division created to service the Healthcare IT and EHR market

Surrex Consulting, a nationwide provider of Information Technology (IT) Staffing and Consulting Services, today announced the launch of a new division created to service the Healthcare IT and Electronic Health Records (EHR) market. The company, which has 15 offices nationwide, plans to leverage their experience in IT Consulting and Staffing and focus their resources on delivering to the primary users of EHR and Healthcare IT technology -- hospitals and hospital groups.

The move, timed to coincide with the rollout of government initiatives such as the HITECH act and updated HIPAA regulations, allows the company to provide value and service to a market that faces rapidly increasing demand for talent and a progressively expanding talent shortage.

"We have seen studies that predict talent shortages in the Healthcare IT market that approach 30% over the next 5 years," says Surrex EHR Strategist Michael Junge. Electronic Health Records (EHR) technology represents a rapidly expanding segment of the Healthcare IT market.
