Possible acquisition: inVentiv Health announces approach by financial investors

 inVentiv Health, Inc. (Nasdaq:VTIV) announced today that is has been approached by financial investors regarding a possible acquisition of the company. To consider possible courses of action, inVentiv has formed a special committee of the Board of Directors, which has retained Goldman, Sachs & Co. as a financial advisor. inVentiv does not expect to make further comments about this matter unless it enters into a definitive agreement. There can be no assurance that inVentiv will enter into any transaction.
