AllCells expands office, laboratory production space and staff

AllCells LLC (the "Company"), a leading supplier of primary cell types, today announced it has completed its expansion into 10,000 additional square feet of office and laboratory production space located in Emeryville, California.

The newly leased space, adjacent to AllCells' headquarters, will be used to meet the rapidly growing demand for the Company's hematopoietic stem/progenitor and other primary cell products used for drug discovery, regenerative medicine, cell-based assay development, and other research applications. Jay Tong M.D., the Company's President & CEO, commented, "The facilities expansion is an important step towards executing our strategic growth plan, enabling AllCells to increase production capacity and continue providing the best possible service to our customers." Dr. Tong added, "We have experienced dramatic growth over the past few years; in a recent market survey, >90% of AllCells' customers reported being very satisfied with our products & service, with more than one third expecting to increase their business."

The Company has simultaneously expanded staff in several areas. Wayne Vaz recently joined the Company as VP, Corporate & Business Development, previously serving with Millipore Corp. and Serologicals Corp. in the areas of Technology & Alliance and Corporate Business Development & Strategic Planning. Headcount has also been expanded within the areas of Sales & Marketing, Laboratory Operations, and Accounting.
