- Representative office in Moscow opened - New support base intensifies marketing and sales - Russia's pharma market growing dynamically

Gerresheimer AG has set up a sales office in Moscow. The new representation centre will intensify the Group's business in pharmaceutical primary packaging and drug-delivery systems. "This is a strategically important step to further develop the fast-growing pharma & healthcare markets of Russia and neighboring regions," says Gerresheimer CEO Dr. Axel Herberg.

The Duesseldorf Group, which has been active in Russia for many years, has numerous customers there. For example the Group supplies the Moscow company Petrovax Pharm with large quantities of pre-sterilized RTF(R) (Ready To Fill) syringes for vaccines. The business in high-quality pharma vials and ampoules is also well established.

Regional representation will contribute to intensification not only of sales operations but also customer advice and technical service on the spot. In general, the Russian pharma industry has a strong interest in developing its quality and technologies together with competent partners.

This fast-growing pharma & healthcare market is seen as extremely dynamic and offers Gerresheimer good growth opportunities.
