Nursing Program at Akron Campus of Bryant & Stratton College receives accreditation from ACEN

The Nursing Program at the Akron Campus of Bryant & Stratton College has received initial accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) for the maximum period of five years.

"ACEN Accreditation is a sign of exceptional quality for RN programs," said Florentine Hoelker, Ph.D., Akron Campus Director.  "It shows we have met a very high standard for nursing education through quality, credentialed faculty, rigorous curriculum and clinical experiences, and more."

"More importantly, it benefits our students since this accreditation will allow our RN graduates to more easily articulate to BSN programs. In addition, it demonstrates to employers that the Bryant & Stratton College Akron Nursing Program produces quality, competent nurses."

The Nursing Program at the Akron Campus of Bryant & Stratton College currently has no waiting list, and the next semester begins September 10.  Interested students should call the campus at 330.598.2500 and ask for Admissions.

Questions specific to the Nursing Program may be directed to Nursing Program Director Mary Campbell, RN, MSN.

Bryant & Stratton College has four campuses in Ohio offering degrees programs in Health Services Administration, Medical Assisting, Business, Nursing and Paralegal, among others.
