2e Creative, Inc., a full-service creative agency based in St. Louis, Mo., focused on healthcare, science, and technology, was recently named Medical Marketing & Media's (MM&M) "2015 Small Healthcare Agency of the Year." This award marks back-to-back Agency of the Year wins for 2e Creative, who was named "Healthcare Impact Agency of the Year" by Advertising Age and Modern Healthcare in 2014.
"We have our best team ever, and they're producing the greatest work of their lives for clients who trust us to take them amazing places," said Ross Toohey, 2e Creative President and CEO. "The depth of talent among the other finalists this year was stout, and we feel very proud to have emerged on top. I believe the next few years will be the most exciting in the history of life science and healthcare marketing, and 2e will be right there at the forefront. This is just the beginning."
The annual MM&M Awards ceremony, which was attended by 850 industry leaders last Thursday in New York City, highlights the best in healthcare marketing, communications, and media. In addition to their Agency of the Year win, 2e Creative was also awarded silver in the Best Corporate Marketing Campaign category for its Sigma-Aldrich "FUEL" campaign, which targeted the entire workforce to communicate how individual employees drive company success.
Agencies are judged based on criteria including growth, culture, and quality of work. The judging process for agencies in contention for Agency of the Year awards also included the use of anonymous client testimonials. Of 2e Creative, one client offered the following to MM&M:
"Working with 2e Creative is like hiring a department full of senior-level strategists and creatives," the anonymous client said. "The agency develops and retains talent [comparable] to the senior-level talent at any big NYC agency, while approaching your business and team creatively [and] with a collaborative and realistic approach. They look at marketing from a holistic and integrated perspective with a strong focus on metrics for measuring success."
