Tell us about the company and why you are attending Analytica?
We are Cyanagen, an Italian company, here at Analytica in hall A3 booth 416. We produce reagents for molecular biology, mainly ECL substrates for Western blot analyzers and fluorescent reagents for several applications.
What products are you highlighting at Analytica?
A new product that we are going to launch on the market, is our infrared blot that is a secondary antibody labelled with infrared dyes for infrared western blotting, fluorescent, and then fixable variability dyes that you can use in flow cytometry to discriminate the living cells from death cells.
What makes this product different from anything else on the market?
Our dyes are all of a high quality and high brightness. We also give all our customers the chance to customize the dyes they purchase from us, depending on ease of request.
Which industries will benefit from this product?
At the moment we only sell to researchers, and not to customers in vitro diagnostics. Our main focus is on life sciences industries such as diagnostics and food analysis.
What does the future hold for Cyanagen and your products?
Our next goal is to move into the IVD market.
