    For those who are less adept at reading social cues, could the effect make the playing field for conversations more level?

    Would be curious to see the study repeated with neurodivergent participants (ex: autism / ADHD).

    Also would be curious if the effects are at all similar to what's been found when people think or communicate in a foreign language - the process there has been observed to result in people making more rational / less emotional decisions, which can often mean better decisions.
