Wash your face as soon as possible when you wake up because they retreat into us when light hits them. I use Kirk's coconut soap

I use a face wash twice a day that contains an organic aloe along with probiotics. That has really helped manage my rosacea.

Information on this website is wrong, it will do nothing to alleviate these mites from your body. I've had these mites for 5 years and I've tried everything to get these out and off my    body and nothing has worked, all that has happened is they've multiplied & multiple inside me.
They are under and in every hair, pore in your body from your head to your feet inc your mouth. Woken up and suddenly aged 20+ years out of nowhere? That because the mites feed on the collagen in your skin causing it to collapse and sag. Teeth fell out? When they live and thrive in your hair using nerves and veins as a mite highway the nerves connected to teeth they move down into the root of teeth eating away causing severe damage that the teeth fall out and pretty quickly too.
There are too many doctors around world that know nothing on this massive problem ,short of them calling you a liar, it's all in your head crap, this is medical gaslighting and is illegal, they took the oath to cause no harm, they appear to forget this why they belittle us all. Ivejust discovered a company that only deal with mites on the body , they are called
          www.ungexau.com
They are available worldwide. I'm waiting on my order coming, I'm claiming my skin and life back. Hope this helps everyone, you can download a helpful guide from their website with some good tips. Take care

Heat does NOT kill demodex mites!  I live in South Texas and people get them in their cars and a car sitting in the sun can easily get 150-160 degrees! Heat does NOT kill them, not hot water, not dryers, not blow dryers, and not the sun! Wash your clothes with permethrin.  If that stops killing them, use bifen 7.9%. The best miticide is cedar oil but its very expensive!

Best to get your dermotologist to prescribe Stromectol/Ivermectin. 3 gram pills despensed according to your weight. They are Not covered anymore , are Only our of pocket, GoodRx is the way to go. Rite aid will treat you poorly,  go somewhere else

You are not alone. Unfortunately, I have had an extremely extensive experience with these things. For me it started out with just some reddish spots and then some itching and then I was in severe pain in every place I had was seeing on my body. After many visits to multiple doctors, then resorting to e.r.'s. And being told that it was all in my head.. I did a lot of trial & error and found that washing on and drying in hot, does NOTHING to kill mites. But if you use ivermectin pills or paste, and stay clean and keep your clothes and bedding clean as well and use dimethacone earth on your floors and furniture, for a few days. You can go on with a mite free life.

I have them everywhere on my face EXCEPT my eyes -- which is the opposite of all the advertised treatments which are all for eyes.  I stopped wearing eye makeup years ago.  Right now I'm having a nightmarish overgrowth of them on my nose and mouth.  Sometimes I want to scream it bothers me so much.  Nothing works permanently.  The worst is the scarring.  I went to a dermatologist once after calling around to screen them first.  I'd call and ask to speak to the doctor or their nurse/PA, then ask if they have experience with demodex.  After several calls, finally one said yes.  So I asked if I could come in and have a skin punch biopsy so I could have a proper diagnosis.  They said yes.  Then when I went to the appointment, the doctor did not do a biopsy, she looked at me like I was crazy, then prescribed an anti-psychotic.  So now I'm afraid to tell any doctor what I know I have.  I have seen them with my own eyes, under a high-powered magnifier.  I pray for relief for you and me and anyone else in this hell.

            In short:
Mites exposed to sweet basil oil shrank, distorted, and deformed after a few minutes of death, while those exposed to ivermectin became smaller and translucent two hours later.

Two mites covered with follicular keratin stopped moving and died within 2 min after exposure to lemongrass oil. The mites shrank, distorted, and became transparent within 30 min after death.

            Conclusion
This study demonstrated that Thai herbal essential oils and tea tree oil had a superior in vitro killing effect than ivermectin 1%, while ivermectin 1% was better than metronidazole 0.75%. Thai herbal essential oils are potentially an adjuvant or alternative therapy against Demodex mites. Further in vivo studies are necessary to determine the treatment efficacy and side effects.
