I have them everywhere on my face EXCEPT my eyes -- which is the opposite of all the advertised treatments which are all for eyes.  I stopped wearing eye makeup years ago.  Right now I'm having a nightmarish overgrowth of them on my nose and mouth.  Sometimes I want to scream it bothers me so much.  Nothing works permanently.  The worst is the scarring.  I went to a dermatologist once after calling around to screen them first.  I'd call and ask to speak to the doctor or their nurse/PA, then ask if they have experience with demodex.  After several calls, finally one said yes.  So I asked if I could come in and have a skin punch biopsy so I could have a proper diagnosis.  They said yes.  Then when I went to the appointment, the doctor did not do a biopsy, she looked at me like I was crazy, then prescribed an anti-psychotic.  So now I'm afraid to tell any doctor what I know I have.  I have seen them with my own eyes, under a high-powered magnifier.  I pray for relief for you and me and anyone else in this hell.
