    Doesn't finding a virus in a respiratory epithelial cell suggest an active infection?  I don't quite understand Dr. Oh's statement about viruses persisting in the cell for 2 months.  Is he suggesting that there's 'inactive virus' in the cell?  If so, how does that happen?

      PCR does not find virus, but merely a specific fragment of its RNA mostly under 200b long. that is less than 1 percent length of a single copy of full viral genome. RNA is considered very unstable. Also i think the quote is incorrect as it considers the cell after its elimination. i think a cell doesn't exist after that.
