We have an active social media campaign to try and alert more people to the harms of smoking in pregnancy and in the presence of children, we hope that more people discuss pot smoking and the risks to the health of the mother and the baby. Currently there is a study underway that is recruiting frequent pot users who are pregnant to further study the damage to the babies, it is funded by US federal funds through NIDA - we consider it to be unethical given the body of biomedical evidence of harm of using marijuana in pregnancy - we have filed formal complaints but so far it is continuing to recruit. Sadly these babies do not have representation and their rights are being ignored.
