    My name is Val I live in Seattle Washington. I have PTSD, depression, borderline personality disorder. The article about how mental illness affects peoples life in regards to leading a pretty lonely life is dead on! I'm over 40, and have never had a close relationship not by choice. I have no close friends not by choice. It's real hard. All I want is a chance then if I muck up that's my fault you know?  But it's real hard everyday.  Holidays the 4th of July, Labor day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and always birthdays spent with my elderly Mom whom I love but I would love to spend it with some good friends. There needs to be more support out there for us.  We are TOTALLY IGNORED.
