This is already being done in dogs by the pioneering Supervet Prof. Noel Fitzpatrick. An episode recently aired a dog getting stem cells from his fat, and platelets, Injected into his arthritic knee. People like me, life ruined by triple arthritis need this NOW. in fact the NHS being as rubbish as it is, if I could pay for that vet treatment I'd be booking to get done. NHS moratorium on knee replacements before 50 is not borne out by recent clinical research on knee parts in fact lasting 25 years + and this is a non clinical decision. I can look forward to mobile retirement but not working age!!! Prof. Fitzpatrick also recently did a partial knee replacement on a dog that dogs Dad, an orthopaedic surgeon on the NHS can't offer patients. Hence the need for one medicine from his Humanimal Trust.
