    Why is it taking so long in the U.S. to approve stem cell therapy? Other nations have it- even Panama has it. Our country really doesnt care that much about sufering due to pain or other chronic conditions- and doctors havent spoken up for what is right.

      Yes dave you are exactly right. What bugs me even more is that less effective and more dangerous stem cell methods are being pursued instead of safer and more effective methods (i.e autologous vs. allogeneic). All to save on production cost (but no effective product is even available yet!). Get something that's safe and works and then worry about the production cost. I sure as heck would pay a little bit more for something that works!
